CURTORIM: Parish Youth Nuvem downed CAC Cansaulim 4-1 to book their place in the semi-finals of the Curtorim Villagers Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Curtorim Gymkhana, at St Alex Church ground, on Friday.
PY Nuvem striker Rayan Alvares should have netted but the latter’s shot was palmed away to safety by Cansaulim keeper Prabhakar Kattimani second minute.
It was the Cansaulim midfielder Veegan Ferrao who after dribbling past Nuvem defender Stephan Colaco and Niclau Colaco shot from close range which crashed into the nylons of Nuvem to open the score-line for Cansaulim in the 4th minute.
Nuvem equalised in the 40th minute through Joerose Oliveira.
Nuvem again scored in the 45th minute through Joerose Oliveira.
Later in the 56th minute, Nicolau Colaco made it 3-1 and in the 65th minute Sanford Colaco made it 4-1.
Nuvem will now meet Don Bosco Fatorda in the semi-finals.
