BENAULIM: Parish Youth Nuvem edged past United Club of Benaulim 3-2 to move into the semi-finals of the 29th Super Soccer football tournament organised by United Boys of Dando Colva, at Sao Joao Baptist ground, Dando-Benaulim, on Saturday.
Nuvem’s Godfrey Mascarenhas netted the first goal of the match with a volley in the 11th minute but the joy was short-lived as Nicholas Rodrigues equalised for Benaulim with a free-kick in the 14th minute.
Eight minutes later, Nuvem’s Stephen Colaco doubled the account.
In the 37th minute, Nicholas Rodrigues levelled terms for Benaulim.
Nuvem scored the match winner through Stephen Colaco in the 49th minute.
