VELSAO: Piedade Youth Association hammered Velsao SC 5-1 in the GFA Under-16 football League at Velsao ground, recently.
Piedade Youth Association opened the scoring through Vishal Vaigankar in the 15th minute. Soon in five minutes, Naryan Mashelkar doubled the lead. Roshell Vaz increased the tally in the 20th and 25th minutes to complete his brace.
Thereafter, Pradip Madaikar pumped in two more goals in the 38th and 42nd minutes.
Velsao SC pulled one back through Myron D’Mello in the 8th minute.
