PANJIM: Infinite, Margao got the better of Don Bosco Oratory (DBO) , Panjim 34-34 to progress into the next round of the Women’s event of the 3rd YMCA Knights Basketball tournament, at Don Bosco Oratory Indoor Stadium, here, on Tuesday.
Rachel top scored for Infinite with 14 points. Shaheen played well for Don Bosco Oratory with 15 points.
In the Men’s event, Sonics Britto’s lost to Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim B 10-51. Nikhil Chandwani top scored for DBO with 25 points while Epher Morais played well for Sonics with five points.
In another match, Panjim Basketeers humbled Benign Devils, Marcel 31-17. Hurva Bhakal top scored with eight points for Panjim Basketeers. Saurabh played well for the Marcel team with seven points.
