AMBORA: Rachol-Raia Veterans blanked Chinchinim Veterans 3-0 and moved into the semi-finals of the Late Conceicao Memorial Veterans Football Tournament organised by Jose Cookies Veterans Loutolim at Camorlim Panchayat ground on Tuesday.
Rachol-Raia netted the first goal in the 5th minute through Ricard Carvalho, of a diagonal ball from Anthony Tavares. Fifteen minutes later, Ricard Carvalho scored his second goal for Rachol-Raia with an assist from Anthony Tavares.
In 20th minute Ricard Carvalho of Raia Rachol hit the post with a power pack shot.
In second half, Presley Pereira of Chinchinim tried his luck, but shot wide. In the dying minutes Melwin scored the third goal for Raia Rachol from a cross by Anthony Tavares in the 60th minute.
