CALANGUTE: Raia SC edged past St Savio SC, Calangute 1-0 to enter the quarter-finals of Candolim Village Panchayat Cup football tournament at Dr Gustavo Monteiro ground, Candolim, Thursday.
Raia scored the match-winner through Felix De Mello’s in the 32nd minute.
Raia goalkeeper Cosme Oliveira played an integral role in his side’s victory as he parried away umpteen attempts of St Savio players.
