RAIA-SOLVA: Raia Sporting Club outplayed CAC Sports and Social Club, Cansaulim 6-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the 48th Custodio Memorial football tournament organised by Raia Sporting Club, at Raia panchayat ground, on Sunday.
CAC opened the score-line through Agnelo D’Souza in the seventh minute.
Raia Sporting Club equalised through Jayson Gauncar in the eighth minute.
Six minutes later, Lloyd Cardozo doubled the account for Raia.
Three minutes later, Lloyd Cardozo made it 3-1 for Raia.
Ten minutes later, Jayson Gauncar made it 4-1.
A minute later, Lloyd Cardozo completed his hat-trick and 5-1 for Raia. Later in the 61st minute, Lloyd Cardozo made it 6-1 for Raia while CAC Agnelo D’Souza made it 2-6 in the 67th minute.
Raia Sporting Club will now meet the winners of Curtorim Gymkhana and Ambelim SC in the quarter-finals on July 7.
