NAVELIM: Raia Sporting club edged past Curtorim Gymkhana 3-2 to move into the quarterfinals of the Gold Silver Rolling Trophy, at Our Lady of Rosary church ground, Navelim, on Tuesday.
Curtorim Gymkhana took the lead in the 39th minute through James Fernandes but it didn’t take long for Raia to equalise as five minutes later, Sweden Barbosa equalised.
Raia further inflated the lead by scoring two more goals through Oilex Oliveira and Eidon Colaco in the 46th and 49th minutes respectively.
James Fernandes of Curtorim made it 2-3 in the 68th minute.
