CANSAULIM: Raitura Sports Club thrashed United Club Benaulim 5-0 in the CAC Three Kings Cup, played at Cansaulim Sports Complex, on Thursday.
Raitura Sports Club scored their first goal in the fifth minute through Melroy Dias assisted by Johnny D’Cruz.
Nicholas Rodrigues made a nice solo attempt but failed to convert it with only the keeper at his mercy.
Raitura controlled the match with more of the ball possession.
Melvin Gauncar scored the second goal while Josyton Cardozo made it 3-0 just before the breather.
In the second half, Melroy Dias completed his brace before Lloyd Cardozo added two more to take the team’s tally to five goals.
On Wednesday, CAC Cansaulim lost against Verna Sports Club 5-4 via the tie-breaker.
There was no score in the regulation time.
