PANJIM: Asian school team gold and silver medalist and Fide Masters Hungarian Caissa open bronze medalist 10-year-old Rajaryan Kuvelkar did Goa proud being the first Indian participant in recent years scoring a near perfect 7/9 points and sharing the top honors with Ukranian  Burbadev Krill  2304 ), Russian Golcmen Evgeny 2252  and Saleh Naqurreb  2220 of UAE and Ursu Ana Marie of Moldova  with 6 wins and 2 draws, all against much higher rated senior opponents in the open category of Prague International Open in Czech Republic.
Continuing his successive good run on the European circuit, Rajaryan lost just one of the last 19 international opponents he faced in a span of 23 days.
Rajaryan has been coached by R Gokhale, GM Guyla Sax (Hungary ), IM Mederov (Ukraine ) and IM Dr Erdelyi (Russia).
By collecting an astonishing haul of 100 points, Rajaryan now has become the highest rated FIDE player of Goa in his age category.
