MAINA: Rebello Pandal Maina blanked Jilly Boys, Tilamol 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the 15th all Goa Rebello Pandal Maina football tournament, organised by Rebello Pandal Maina, at St Rita church ground, Maina on Wednesday.
Jolly Boys Tilamol should have netted in the third minute itself through Sanford but the latter’s powerful shot was saved by Mohammed goalkeeper of Rebello Pandal Maina.
Two minutes later, Rebello Pandal’s Nevil shot the ball but Tilamol goalkeeper Ariston was equal to the task.
Rebello Pandal netted two quick goals through Aliston Fernandes and Aleward Fernandes in the 31st and 40 minutes respectively.
