Corps of Signals dominated the first 10 minutes through L. Nokul Singh and Ajay while Vasco SC dominated through Jaison Vaz and Princeton Rebello.
Jaison Vaz should have found the ball at the back of Corps of Signals net in the very 2nd minute itself but Kuldeep Kumar of Corps foiled his move.
Thereafter, L Nokul Singh tried a solo effort for Corps in the 4th minute after dribbling past Sunny of Vasco SC, released a venous strike which crashed on the cross piece of and went out of play.
Princeton took a throw inside the Corps box which was picked up by Kingslee Fernandes in the 6th minute with his left footer and unleashed a trigger shot but to his dismay the rival goalkeeper saved it.
Vasco SC opened the scoring in the 10th minute through Jaison Vaz with a grounder in a solo effort. Six minutes later, Princenton doubled the lead with a placement off Hazar’s pass.
Crossing over, it was Corps of Signals who dominated with substitute Pawan Thakur making moves upfront in the last quarter of the match but squandered the goal scoring opportunities.
Corps of Signals pulled one goal back through L. Solomon Khongsai in the 62nd minute off a grounder from inside the Vasco SC box.
