Remedious prevailed over Murrod United via the tie-breaker 6-3 to move into the quarter-finals of Babazin memorial inter-ward soccer tournament at Dr Gustavo Monteiro stadium, Candolim. Both teams were level 3-3 at full time.
In the 7th minute, Felix opened the account for Remedious which was later increased by Kliber to make it 2-0.
Murrod went into the attack with Jitu reducing the margin through a left footer.
After the lemon break, Murrod found the equaliser through Movin.
Remedious regained the lead from a brilliant goal coming through the boots of Manu to make it 3-2.
However, Steven of Murrod wiped of the deficit in the dying minutes.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Kliber, Defon and Shelu scored for Remedious while Steven, Jitu and Spoty failed to find the net for Murrod.
