MAPUSA: Remedious Sports Club trounced Confraria 4-1 in the 3rd Friends Circle inter-ward soccer tournament, at Candolim ground, on Wednesday.
It was Confraria that stunned their opponents with an early goal in the fifth minute. Ashok Kuttikar scored from a goalmouth melee.
Trailing by a goal, Remedious came with series of attack and hammered three goals before the breather to make it 3-1.
In the 10th minute, Felix D’Souza guided the ball into the goal off a cross by Anant Shirodkar to equalise.
As the match progressed, Remedious scored twice through Melvyn Loco in the 24th and 25th minutes.
On crossing over, Remedious scored their fourth goal through Daphen Rodrigues.
