RAIA: A brilliant 49 runs and 5-wicket haul by Rish Sagar Pawaskar enabled St Britto’s High School, Mapusa, to register a big win against Shri Shanta Vidyalay, Siolim, in the Bardez Taluka Inter-School U-14 Cricket Tournament organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Campal, Panjim, at Peddem sports complex ground, Peddem-Mapusa, recently. St Britto’s High School batted first and put up a total of 132 runs.
Rish Sagar offered some lone resistance with a gritty knock of 49 runs and later did the damage in the scorecard of Shri Shanta Vidyalay by clinching 5 crucial wickets in his 4 overs by giving just 11 runs.
Reymon took 3 wickets for St Britto’s High School. Shri Shanta Vidyalay were all out on 49 runs.
