MARGAO: Rishan Sheikh has set up a title clash with Atharva Dhulapkar in mini cadet boys singles finals, in the 50th Golden Jubilee edition of the All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament, organized by MCC Sports Club under the aegis of Goa Table Tennis Association (GTTA), at MCC Krishna Karwarkar Hall, Margao.
In the cadet boys section, top seed Aaron Farias will meet Akshan Lawande in the final.
In the mini cadet boys semi-finals, Rishan Sheikh was given a huge scare by Yatharth Balyan before prevailing 3-2 .
In the other semis, Atharva Dhulapkar downed Aachman Dhaimodkar 3-1.
In cadet boys semi finals, Aaron Farias dropped a set on route to a 3-1 win over Fynn Gonsalves to reach his fifth consecutive finals.
The top seed will meet Akshan Lawande who registered an upset 3-1 win over number 2 seed Khushal Naik in the other semis.
In Sub Junior boys, Anshuman Agarwal was given some resistance by Aaron Colaco before winning 3-1 to enter the finals.
The other semi finals went the way of Shantesh Mapsekar who recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over Advait Mudras.
