PANJIM: Ritviz Parab won the 1st late Kanchani Prabhudesai Memorial All Goa Fide Rating Chess Championship, organised by Banavli Chess Club under the affiliation of Salcete Taluka Chess Association and Goa Chess Association, at Laxmi temple Benaulim, recently.
In the final round, Ritviz defeated Shane Branganza in a exciting finish to win the title.
On the second board, Gunjal Chopekar held Nandhini Saripalli for a draw while on the third board, Vraj Parab outplayed Aryan Raikar to finish 2nd in the tournament.
