LOUTOLIM: River Bank, Rassaim prevailed RBC Carvota 1-0 to advance into the quarter-finals of the 19th SWYAL Cup inter-ward football tournament, at Saviour of the World church ground, Loutolim, on Sunday.
River Bank, Rassaim scored through Revlon Fernandes’ free-kick in the 47th minute.
In the second match St. Joseph Boys, Rassaim beat Rassaim Youth Association 2-0 to enter the quarter-finals.
St Joseph netted through Melvin who scored from the penalty-kick in the 34th minute and in the second half, Jerry doubled the score.
