PANJIM: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will organise road races with the Technical assistance of the Goa Athletic Association, on the occasion of Independence Day.
The races are open for the boys and girls in the age group of 14 to 16 years (born on or after August 15, 2003), 17 to 19 years (born on or after August 15, 2000) and 20 years and above (born on or after August 15, 1999).
The route of the race will be (14-16 years) Old Secretariat to Dempo House and back, (17-19 years) Old Secretariat to Kala Academy and back and (20years and above) Old Secretariat to Bal Bhavan and back.
Interested participants studying in schools, higher secondary schools and colleges should to submit their entries through the head of their respective educational organization and non–students participants should submit their entries through their employers or self with copy of birth certificate.
The last date for submission of entries is August 13 in the Office of the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Campal.
