RAIA: Fatorda Veterans blanked Nuvem Veterans 3-0 to move into the quarter-finals of Betalbatim Kala Mogi 2nd All-Goa Veterans Football Cup 2024 played at SAG ground, Betalbatim.
Fatorda Veterans opened the scoreline in 14th minute through Rosario Carvalho with a neat placement, while Nuvem Veterans’ Francisco Pango shot missed the target in the 28th minute.
At half time, Fatorda Veterans were leading 1-0.
On resumption of play, Fatorda Veterans’ Joao Araujo scored from penalty kick in the 40th minute, while Rosario completed his brace in the 50th minute. Nuvem Veterans’ Minguel, Joaquim and Francisco tried hard to score but the luck did not favour them.
