The match was evenly contested with Rosary making most of the initial attacks. Damodar slowly settled into a good combination to dominate play just before half time. The second half was keenly fought between the teams but none could get the match winner.
In the ensuing tie breaker and sudden death Rosary held their nerves to win 6-5.
For Rosary Jaison Pereira, Costancio Rodrigues, Alson Fernandes, Austin Fernandes, Ronald Dias and Stephen Pereira were on target.
Meldon D’Silva, Tunard Fernandes, Stanford Rodrigues, Jhonous D’Costa and Valent Rodrigues scored for Damodar.
Dr. S.R. Shetye, Vice Chancellor of Goa University was the chief guest for the presentation ceremony. He presented medals and trophies to the finalist.
