Rosary Higher Secondary, Navelim, GVM, Ponda and Gaunkar Higher Secondary, Raia marched into the semi-finals of Zone III inter-higher secondary football tournament organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at Rosary ground, Navelim on Saturday. Rosary blanked RMS, Margao 2-0. Revington Fernandes and Neville Fernandes were the goal scorers for Navelim.
In another match, GVM, Ponda beat MES, Zuarinagar 1-0. The all important goal was scored by Ishwar Parwar. Gaunkar, Raia defeated Fr Basilio Andrade, Majorda 1-0. Glen Dias struck the lone goal for Gaunkar.
