FATORDA: Rosary HSS, Navelim and GVM’s HSS, Ponda made it to the semi-finals of the Zone III U-19 boys inter higher secondary football tournament, organised by DSYA, at Astroturf ground, Fatorda on Wednesday.
In the first match, Rosary HSS, Navelim defeated SVVM HSS, Borim 3-0.
Asfin Pinto scored a brace while Mevan Dias added one to Rosary’s tally.
In the second match, GVM’s HSS, Ponda hammered Loyola HSS, Margao 7-0.
Joshua D’Silva scored a fine hat-trick, Laxman Gaude scored a brace while Pushkar Prabhu and Reedam Fondekar scored a goal each for the winners.
