CURCHOREM: Rosary High School, Navelim, beat St Mary’s High School, Varca, 1-0 in the finals of HCI@60 five-a-side football tournament at Cavelossim ground.
Ajay Talwar scored the precious match-winner.
Jayden Carvalho of St Mary’s was adjudged the best player-of-the tournament.
Manager of the school, Fr Ubaldo Fernandes, was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Headmistress, Edilqueen Furtado, and PTA Chairperson, Marcelina Fernandes.
The tournament was organised by the management, staff and PTA of Holy Cross Institute, Cavelossim as part of their HCI@60 celebration.
