RAIA: Rossman Cruz Nagoa-Verna outplayed Sporting Club of Davorlim 6-4 via tie-breaker to move ahead in the next round of the UCT Trophy inter-village football tournament organised by United Club of Telaulim, at Telaulim school ground, on Saturday.
SC Davorlim and Rossman Cruz settled for a 1-1 draw at the end of the regulation time.
In the first session of the play, SC Davorlim scored through the efforts of Milton Colaco, while Rossman Cruz equalised in the second session through Frazer D’Costa.
In resultant tie-breaker, SC Davorlim scored through William, Milton, Donald, while Rossman Cruz netted through Noel, Imam Sab, Christo, Joyston and Frazer.
Frazer D’Costa was awarded the man-of-the-match, which was presented by Terrence Gomes, organising secretary of UCT.
