SAO JOSE DE AREAL: Rossman Cruz Nagoa SC defeated Parish Youth Nuvem 7-5 via the tie-breaker to enter the semi-finals of the Areal Panchyat cup inter village football tournament, at Padribhat ground, on Tuesday.
Frazer D’Costa scored a brace for Rossman Cruz while Nicolau Colaco and Alloid Colaco netted a goal each for PY Nuvem in the normal time.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Noel D’Silva, Christo D’Mello, Iman Guled, Romario Da Costa and Sheldon Pereira scored for Rossman Cruz while Nicolau Colaco, Sanford Colaco, Jurgen Colaco and Alloid Colaco found the net for PY Nuvem.
Alloid Colaco of PY Nuvem was adjudged as best player of the match and was awarded by Sao Jose de Areal SC Secretary Valent Fernandes.
