VIRABHAT-CURTORIM: Rumba blanked Damdolem 3-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the 5th Jose and Franky Memorial inter-ward football tournament, organised by Sporting Club of Virabhat (Curtorim) at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim on Thursday.
Rumba took the lead in the 15th minute through Josepaul Fernandes.
In the second half, Rumba increased their lead through Arjones Amor. Rumba scored their 3rd through Princly Oliveira in the 40th minute. Jelliston Fernandes of Damdolem received emerging player of the match award.
