Rupesh Halankar was elected president of the North Goa Weightlifting Association managing committee elections held at Shri Mahadev temple, Deulwada, Ozari, Pernem recently.
The committee: Rupesh Halankar (president), Durganand Kundaikar (vice-president), Mayur Naik (general secretary), Peter Fernandes (joint secretary), Vinayak Bhandari (treasurer), Ravishankar Nipanikar (joint treasurer) and Rupesh Naik (technical advisor).
Rajesh Mulgaonkar, Laxmikant Kankonkar, Milind Mate, Akash Kadam and Dipak Vishwakarma are all members.
