PANJIM: SA Cricketers Chimbel and Samrat Sports Club moved into second round of the the 2nd all-Goa Panchayat level leather ball T20 cricket tournament organised by Betim United at Sports Authority ground, Campal, on Wednesday.
SA Cricketers Chimbeldefeated Hanuman Sports Club by 15 runs.
Hanuman SC won the toss and elected to field. SA Cricketers were bundled out for 145 in 19.2 overs. In reply, Hanuman Sports failed to chase down the target and scored 131 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs.
Siddesh Arora of SA Cricketers was adjudged man-of-the-match while Sagun Gawas of Samrat Sports Club was also adjduged the man -of-the-match.
The highlight of second match between Samrat Sports Club and Porvorim Sports Club. Sagun Gawas remained unbeaten on 57 run and a first wicket partnership of 121 runs with Dinesh Sawal who scored 62.
In another match, Samrat Sports Club defeated Porvorim Sports Club by 9 wickets.
