SANQUELIM: Sai Avatar Anjuna defeated FC Siolim 3-1 to move into the semi-finals of Late Musa Ali Aga football tournament organised by Eagle SC, at Sankhali Municipal ground, on Sunday.
Sai Avatar Anjuna opened the scoring through Rohan Kambli with a curling free-kick in the 8th minute.
Sai further doubled the lead through Aniket Dabolkar in the 20th minute.
At the other end, Siolim’s Rajesh Pomburphekar pulled a goal back in the 50th minute. Minutes later, Aniket Dabolkar scored his brace to make it 3-1 for Sai.
