DRAMAPUR: SAI Veterans (B23) beat hosts Dramapur Veterans 2-1 and entered the final of the St Joseph veterans football festival tournament, organised by Dramapur veterans at Dramapur ground on Wednesday.
SAI veterans netted the first goal of the match through Caitan Xavier in the 10th minute. As match progressed, Dramapur’s Peter Pexoito equalised in the 21st minute. It was Bibian Fernandes who netted the match-winner for SAI in the 45th minute. SAI veterans will meet Vasco in the final on October 10 which will be played on the occasion of the feast of St Joseph.
