SAIPEM: Saipem SC A defeated Saipem SC B 2-1 in the All Bardez volleyball tournament, organised by Saipem Sports Club at Saipem volleyball court.
The following individual prizes were given: best smasher: Nellson Rego, best lifter and emerging player: Yash Tilve, best defender: Augustine Fernandes, player of the tournament: Arvind.
The winners were awarded Rs.12,000 plus trophy while the runners up received Rs 8,000 plus trophy
Candolim sarpanch Blaize Fernandes was the chief guest and away the prizes in the presence of Santosh Bandodkar, panch member Pilerne panchayat, John Fernandes, Santan Trindade and other dignitaries.
A total of 16 teams participated in the tournament.
