PANJIM: Sairon scored a fine hat-trick as Dempo Sports Club defeated Sesa Football Academy 6-1 in the Hero Junior League played Ella ground, on Friday.
Sairon scored the first with a stylish tap in after receiving an assist from Arnold in the 29th minute. Arnold was there once again to provide another goal as this time his cross was headed in by Yashas in the 32nd minute.
Within minutes, Dempo SC were 3-0 up as Rohit, after covering some distance from the left flank proved an inch perfect pass to Sairon, who scored with a simple tap in.
Dempo SC scored their fourth just before the breather through Sairon, who completed his hat-trick after a well executed corner-kick taken by Dempo SC.
Crossing over, Dempo Sports Club continued their dominance and added two more goals through Rohut and captain Shreyash.
Sesa FA managed to score a goal in the 70th minute to make it 6-1.
Earlier, Dempo SC’s Shreyash missed a spot-kick in the 72mins.
Dempo SC are unbeaten in their four games having scored 19 goals and just three considered.
Dempo SC coach Remus Gomes said, “All credit goes to the boys and the technical team who are working together to be where we are today. Another four games to play and will try to give our best to finish as champions in the I-league as well. I am sure the boys will maintain the winning run and will go on to collect full points in the remaining matches”.
