MARGAO: Salcete hammered Quepem 9-3 in the inaugural match of the PE teachers’ futsal tournament in memory of Braz Rodrigues, at DBO Fatorda ground, on Monday.
The goal scorers for Salcete were Mario Vales who scored a hat-trick while Kevin Fernandes and Jelies Fernandes scored a brace each.
Francis Fernandes and Shehan Fernandes also got their names on the score sheet.
Sarvesh Parab, Ronaldo Dias and Jaikrishna Dessai were the goalscorers for Quepem.
