PANJIM: Salgaocar FC, Vision Football – Delhi and YFA emerged triumphant in the U-13, U-11, and U-9 categories, respectively, at the Goa Winter Cup, organised by Youth Futsal Academy (YFA), at Chowgule Sports Complex, Margao.
In the U-13 category, Salgaocar FC clinched the top spot, showcasing exceptional skills and teamwork. South Goa United secured the runners-up position, while St Joseph Shiroda claimed the third place. Vision Football Delhi and Forza Pune secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
In the U-11 category, Vision Football – Delhi emerged victorious demonstrating commendable performance throughout the tournament. South Goa United earned the runners-up position, followed by Forza Pune in third place. FC Goa Football Schools and St Joseph Shiroda secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
The U-9 category saw YFA emerging as the winners, displaying promising talent. Vision Football Delhi secured the runners-up position, while South Goa United claimed the third place. FC Goa Football Schools and St Joseph Shiroda secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.

U-13: Best Player: Enosh (Salgaocar FC); Most Promising Player: Elsan (South Goa United)
U-11: Best Player: Shoubit (Vision Football Delhi); Most Promising Player: Meet (Forza Pune)
U-9: Best Player: Rilan (YFA) Most Promising Player: Kavir (Vision Football Delhi)
Special guests Savio Medeira (ex-head coach education AIFF), Mariano Dias (technical director GFA) and Socorro Vaz (founder YFA) gave away the trophies.
A total of 120 players from Delhi, Pune and Goa, showcased their skills in the tournament.
