Salgaocar for Mumbai showdown

Salgaocar Sports Club coach Karim Bencherifa knows several players in the Mumbai Football Club as he prepares his team to take on Mumbai FC in Kolhapur on January 30.
Salgoacar are on a high after recording eight victories so far and have 24 points from 11 matches.
Salgaocar boys have responded well to coach Khalid Jamil’s call and pulled six victories against some of the leading clubs of the country.
Japanese Ryuji Seuoka and Ghanaian striker Yakubu Yusif, who missed the last two matches on account of injury, fully recovered, have shown maturity upfront.
Promising striker Marcus Mascarenhas has troubled the defence each time he has been introduced into the attack.
Salgaocsr’s defence and waistline have been strengthened with the inclusion of defender Govin Singh and midfielders James Singh and Baldeep Singh.
“Every game is important and the boys know they have to deliver the goods,” claimed Bencherifa.
