RAIA: Saligao Hoopsters (girls), Kamikaze Lourdes (boys) emerged champs in Under-18 State basketball championship at Don Bosco Oratory court, Fatorda.
In the girls finals, Saligao defeated Sharda Mandir, Panjim 34-14. Assuciana (16), Nora (5) topscored for Saligao and Sharda Mandir respectively.
In boys final, Kamikaze Lourdes defeated Don Bosco, Fatorda, 51-47. Jason and Kayden topscored for Kamikaze and DBO respectively.
Fr. Leo Pereira, DBO Fatorda’s Administrator was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Fr. Ralin D’Souza, Secretary, Goa Basketball Association.
