MAPUSA: Saligao Sporting Club registered a solitary goal win over host Anjuna Gymkhana Club to move into the quarters of the Anjuna Gymkhana Cup, at Anjuna Gymkhana ground, on Saturday.
The all important goal came in the 50th minute y from a superb individual brilliance from Jason Monteiro.
Trailing by a goal, Anjuna went all out in search of the equaliser but time and again missed scoring opportunities.
