Sangolda go past Sesa: GFA 2nd Div

MAPUSA: Sangolda Lightning Club did enough to breeze past Sesa Football Academy (Juniors) 4-3 in a GFA Second Division football league match at Sangolda ground, Friday.
Sangolda led 1-0 at half time as Yogesh Mayekar scored in the 41st minute. Changing over, Sangolda doubled their advantage through Leon Fernandes but Sesa came back strongly, thanks to a quick brace from Estevan Mendes in the 59th and 60th minutes.
However, Sangolda regrouped as Yogesh completed his hat-trick with fine strikes in the 67th and 71st minutes, 4-2.
Jaison Vaz reduced the margin for the academy boys in the injury time.
