DULER, APRIL 21 — Sangolda Lightning Club scored a well deserved 2-0 win over Goa Velha Sports Club to enter semi-finals of the Rajasthan Marbles Soccer tournament, organised by Saligao United Club at Dr Gustavo Monteiro stadium, Candolim.
The winners struck a goal in each session of play.
Sangolda took the lead through Joseph D’Costa when he beautifully controlled a loose ball from Prashant Khandeparkar before slamming it into the Goa Velha nets.
On changing ends, Casmiro Peixoto further consolidated the lead for the Sangolda side when he cut past the rival keeper before placing it into the goal.

MAPUSA, DEC 22 Sangolda Lightning Sports Club sailed into the semi-finals of 3rd Pio Jose Gouveia all-Goa inter-village football tournament organised by Colvale Youth Sports Club beating Youth Club of Colvale 2-0 at Colvale Church grounds on Monday. The teams were locked goalless at the breather.
