CALANGUTE: Sangolda Lightning prevailed over St. Roque Youth Club, Majorda 4-2 via the tie-breaker after being held to a 1-1 draw to book their place in the finals of 6th Reira Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Saligao Sporting Club at Sporting ground, Saligao, Thursday.
Sangolda took the lead in the 10th minute through Sachin Chopdekar while Aliston Monteiro levelled the score for Majorda in the 22nd minute.
In the penalties, Sangolda got the better of Majorda 3-1. Washington, Nikhil and Yogesh found the mark for Sangolda while Boventura converted for Majorda. Sangolda Lightning will now take on Carmona Sports Club in the finals on February 12.
