PANJIM: Sanquelim Eagles, Dubai defeated Kakeez by 10 wickets to lift the Leopisc Cup organized by Sanguelim Eagles, at Zabeel park ground, Dubai.

Kakeez scored 44 runs in four overs. In reply, Sanquelim chased the total in 2.4 overs without any loss.
In the semi-finals, Sanquelim defeated Sparkling Cricketers and Kakeez beat Zulfa SSC.
Chief guest Dr Anil Mehndiratta gave away the prizes in the presence of guest of honour Mohammed Khatib; Aslam Shah, managing director, Leopisc Technical Services and Sayed Yakub, president, Sanquelim Eagles.
Mohammed Rafi, Sanquelim Eagles, was adjudged man of the final. Nawaz, Kakeez was declared man-of-the-tournament while Navez, Sparkling Cricketers best batsman and Fayaz Shaikh, Zulfa SSC best bowler.
Altogether, 13 Goan teams participated.
