MAPUSA: Cortalim Villagers SWSC topped the Goa Professional League table standings with 33 points from 17 matches overtaking Sesa FA before Santosh Trophy break.
Sesa FA having also 33 points from 18 matches, stays on second place having lost one match against Cortalim Villagers and drawn the next league match.
Young Boys of Tonca are languishing at the bottom of the Goa Professional League table with just 3 points from 17 matches.
Goa team will be leaving to Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, to participate in the final round of the 77th Santosh Trophy from February 21 to March 9, 2024.
Goa, who are placed in Group A, will play against Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam Services and Kerala.
