RAIA: Sao Jose de Areal downed Dicarpale SC 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the Uguem Rising Club football tournament at Uguem ground, on Thursday.
Sao Jose de Areal opened the scoreline through Rayman Fernandes in the 42nd minute. Further, they inflated the lead through Monty Valadred in the 48th minute.
Dicarpale SC tried hard to equalise but Sao Jose de Areal keeper stood like a rock under the cross bar.
Austin Costa of Sao Jose de Areal was presented the man-of-the-match trophy by Constancio Gomes, former secretary of Uguem Rising Club.
