MAPUSA: Saraswat Vidyalaya, Mapusa, U-14 boys emerged North az Champions defeating Progress High School, Sanquelim, by 17 runs.
Winning the toss, Saraswat Vidyalaya elected to bat first and scored 115 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Ishant 29, Surendra 18, Kushal 10, Krishnaraj 12, Saish 13 and Vedant 9 scored.
Daksh, Amesh and Sparsh took two wickets each.
In reply, Progress High School scored 96 runs for 10 wickets. Sparsh 10, Amesh 13, Ashutosh 12, az 11 and Arnav 15 scored.
For Saraswat Vidyalaya, Surendra took 4 wickets, Siddesh and Vedant two wickets each. Kushal and Samarth one wicket each.
Saraswat Vidyalaya will play the State final on April 23, at Sanquelim municipality ground, at 9.30 am.
