DICARPALE: Sarzora SC blanked Sao Jose de Areal 2-0 to cruise into the final of the OL of Fatima Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Dicapale SC, at Dicarpale ground, on Tuesday.
Areal’s Alvito Moura was in thick of action just in the fourth minute and pulled his trigger and shot but the latter’s shot hit the Sarzora side netting and went out of play.
Later in the 12th minute, Sarzora’s Ryan Fernandes tried a solo effort but the latter’s shot was saved by Areal keeper.
It was Aston Fernandes who opened the score-line for Sarzora in the 20th off Myron Ferrao’s connect in the 20th minute.
Five minutes later, it was again Sarzora’s Aston Fernandes who netted his brace.
Later, Areal’s Franky Valadares’ curler hit the Sarzora cross bar and went out of play in the 39th minute.
Sarzora SC will now meet Navelim Villagers Union in the final on October 13.
