ARLEM-RAIA: Sarzora SC blanked St Rock YC, Calata-Majorda 2-0 and moved into the quarter-finals of the 31st Arlem Youth Association Trophy, at Raia Panchayat ground, on Saturday.
In the first half, St Rock missed chances through Fane Fernandes and Filbert Pereira as both strikers shot wide in the 12th and 14th minutes respectively. Three minutes later, Sarzora striker Myron Ferrao’s left footer failed to pop up into St Rock’s net.
In the second half, Sarzora netted two quick goals which came from the boots of Aston Fernandes and Webster Fernandes in the 55th and 59th minutes respectively.
Sarzora SC will now meet Arlem Youth Association in the quarter-finals on May 15.
