VALPOI: Sateri Images won the first edition of Honda Premier League defeating Ajoba Blasters by 27 runs in the Honda Premier League organised by Ajoba cricketers Honda at Narayan Nagar ground, Honda.
A total of eight teams participated in the league. It’s was a hard ball tournament of eight overs.
Ajoba Blasters won the toss and chose to field. Sateri Images scored 68 runs in the allotted eight overs for the loss of eight wickets.
In reply, Ajoba Blasters were bundled out for 42 in 7.4 overs.
Kalpesh Malik was adjudged the man-of-the-match, while Gopal Gawade received the man-of-the series award and Rohan Gaonkar was named the man-of-the-tournament.
