PANJIM: Sateri Sports Club humbled Aivao Youth Club 5-1 in GFA II Division League, at Taleigao ground, on Saturday
Sateri Sports Club scored their first through Rohit Mardolkar in the fourth minute. Vaibhav Kankonkar seized the opportunity and netted the ball in the 23rd minute doubling the score for the winners. Rohit Mardolkar completed his brace in the 43rd minute making it 3-0 at the break.
In the second half, Chetan Shirodkar shot the ball on target for the winners. Khushal Kanonkar scored the fifth goal in the 85th minute securing Sateri Sports Club’s victory.
Aivao Youth Club put up a strong fight and managed to come back in the game with Manoj Gauns scoring the only goal for them . The goal came in the 89th minute.
