MAPUSA: Sauntavaddo booked their berth in the finals of Calangute Panchayat Cup inter-ward football tournament by registering a 4-1 victory against Naikavaddo via the tie-breaker in the semi-finals after a goalless regulation time, at Calangute Association ground, Calangute, Monday.
Blake, Agnelo, Danesh and Joaquim scored for the winners while only Babu converted for Naikavaddo.
In the second half, Chicalim did try to come into the game but some good defending by the Vaddem defenders kept them away from scoring. Arjun put the issue beyond doubt with a fine effort.
